What is the GLOCAL Scholarship?

GLOCAL is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master, funded by the European Union. You spend two years moving between European universities, studying how global markets and local economies shape each other, across history, economics, and business.

The Erasmus Mundus scholarship pays for the whole thing. When you apply for the programme, you apply for the scholarship in the same step.

What the scholarship covers

  • Full tuition and participation costs for the two years
  • A monthly living allowance for the length of the programme
  • A contribution to your travel and installation costs

Confirm the exact current amounts on the official GLOCAL page, as the European Union sets them each year.

Who can apply

  • Students from any country in the world
  • You hold, or will hold, a strong first degree that meets the entry requirements
  • You choose one of the eight study tracks when you apply

Do I need IELTS or TOEFL?

You need to prove your English, usually with IELTS or TOEFL, unless you are exempt. Check the GLOCAL entry requirements for the exact score and book your test early.

Can I apply with average grades?

GLOCAL is competitive, so a strong first degree helps. If your grades are solid and your motivation is clear, apply. If they are still building, look at the other fully funded master’s scholarships we post and keep this one in mind.
