€90,000 Netherlands Jobs With Visa Sponsorship 2026

Find €90,000 Netherlands jobs with visa sponsorship in 2026. Check the official salary rules, eligible careers, documents and application steps.

High-paying jobs in the Netherlands can pay €90,000 or more a year, and some Dutch employers sponsor qualified international professionals. These roles are mainly found in technology, engineering, healthcare, finance, science and senior logistics.

The salary is gross, before tax, and €90,000 is not the starting pay for every job. It is more common in senior and specialist positions. If you are from outside the European Union, European Economic Area or Switzerland, the employer, salary and type of work will also decide which residence permit you can use.

What are the €90,000 Netherlands visa sponsorship jobs?

These are regular paid jobs with Dutch companies, universities, hospitals and research organisations. There is no single programme and no central application form. You apply to each employer separately.

For the Highly Skilled Migrant route, the employer must normally be recognised by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service, known as the IND. A company appearing in the IND Public Register of Recognised Sponsors is allowed to use this procedure. It does not mean the company is hiring at this moment.

You still need to find a suitable vacancy, pass the employer’s selection process and receive a written job offer.

What you get

Your exact package depends on the employer. A suitable offer may include:

  • A gross annual salary that can reach €90,000 or more for senior roles
  • A Dutch employment contract
  • Employer support with the work and residence permit
  • Paid annual leave and holiday allowance
  • A workplace pension or other company benefits
  • Relocation support in some cases

Do not assume that sponsorship includes free flights, family relocation or accommodation. Some employers provide these benefits and others do not. Check the written offer.

Which jobs can pay €90,000 or more?

Roles at this salary level are usually senior or highly specialised. They may include:

  • Senior software engineer, engineering manager or solutions architect
  • AI engineer, machine-learning specialist or data science lead
  • Cybersecurity architect or security manager
  • Semiconductor, electrical, mechanical or process engineering specialist
  • Finance manager, risk specialist, actuary or quantitative analyst
  • Doctor or medical specialist
  • Senior supply-chain, procurement or logistics manager

A job title alone does not guarantee the salary. Pay depends on your experience, the employer, location and responsibilities.

Who can apply

You can apply from any country if the employer accepts international candidates. Strong applicants normally have skills that match the vacancy, relevant work experience and any qualification or professional registration required for the role.

For a €90,000 position, employers will usually expect several years of relevant experience. Your CV needs to show results, not only duties.

If you are a healthcare professional, you may need recognition of your foreign qualification and registration in the Dutch BIG register. Dutch-language requirements can also apply. Read the BIG Register guidance for foreign qualifications before applying.

Is there an age limit?

There is no general upper age limit for these jobs. The Highly Skilled Migrant salary requirement is different for workers under 30 and those aged 30 or older.

Employers can still ask for a certain level of experience, but do not reject yourself because you think you are too old. Read the vacancy and apply if your background fits.

Do I need IELTS or TOEFL?

There is no general IELTS or TOEFL requirement for the Highly Skilled Migrant permit. An employer may still ask for proof that you can work in English, especially if communication is central to the job.

The Orientation Year route has separate language rules for some graduates of foreign universities. Check the conditions that apply to your own permit.

Do I need to speak Dutch?

Not for every job. Many international technology, engineering, science and finance teams work in English.

Dutch is more likely to be required in healthcare, government-related work, law, sales and jobs involving Dutch clients. If a vacancy says Dutch is required, state your level honestly. Do not claim fluency you do not have.

Can I apply without a university degree?

It may be possible for some Highly Skilled Migrant jobs because the route focuses strongly on the employer, salary and specialist position. The employer can still require a degree.

The European Blue Card has clearer education and experience rules. You normally need a relevant higher-education qualification or enough higher-level work experience. Certain IT professionals may qualify with three years of relevant experience gained during the previous seven years.

If you do not have a degree, show evidence of what you can do: certifications, a portfolio, major projects and clear results from previous jobs.

What are the 2026 salary requirements?

A €90,000 salary is above the main 2026 immigration thresholds, but salary alone does not guarantee a permit. You must meet all the other conditions.

Applicant category Minimum gross monthly salary
Highly skilled migrant aged 30 or older €5,942
Highly skilled migrant younger than 30 €4,357
Reduced Highly Skilled Migrant criterion €3,122
European Blue Card €5,942
Reduced European Blue Card criterion €4,754

These figures exclude holiday allowance. Confirm the current amount on the official IND income requirements page before accepting an offer.

Required documents

An employer may ask you for:

  • A clear CV
  • A cover letter written for the vacancy
  • A valid passport
  • Degree certificates and academic transcripts
  • Professional licences or certifications
  • Employment reference letters
  • A portfolio or GitHub profile for technical roles
  • Certified translations of official documents, where required

The immigration documents depend on your nationality and permit route. Your employer should tell you what is needed after you receive an offer.

How to prepare your application

Use a short CV that puts your most relevant experience first. For each job, show the result of your work.

Instead of writing “responsible for software development,” write something like “built payment services used for 300,000 monthly transactions and reduced failed payments by 18%.” Use your real figures. Do not invent them.

Change your CV and cover letter for each vacancy. Applying to hundreds of unrelated jobs will not improve your chances.

How to apply, step by step

  1. Choose roles that match your experience and qualifications.
  2. Check whether the employer is in the IND register or mentions another permit route.
  3. Read the salary, language and experience requirements carefully.
  4. Prepare a focused CV, cover letter and portfolio where relevant.
  5. Apply through the employer’s official careers page or a trusted job portal.
  6. Complete the interviews, technical test or case study.
  7. Review the salary, benefits, contract length and visa support in writing.
  8. After you accept the offer, follow the employer’s instructions for the residence-permit application.

Selection process

The process is different for each employer. It may include a recruiter interview, technical interview, skills test, case study, panel interview and reference check.

Be ready to explain what you personally did on previous projects. For senior jobs, employers will also look at decision-making, communication and leadership.

A genuine employer will not ask you to buy a job offer. Be careful if someone guarantees a visa before an interview, uses only a personal email address or asks for payment through cryptocurrency or a private bank account.

Deadline

There is no central deadline. Every vacancy has its own closing date, and an employer may remove a job after receiving enough suitable applications.

Apply while the vacancy is still open. Read the date on the employer’s page rather than relying on an old social-media post.
