What is the Youth Action Summit?
It is a youth conference in Berlin run by the Centre for Diplomatic Advancement, a private organiser that runs global youth summits. You join young people from around the world for talks, workshops, and networking on leadership and global issues.
You apply once and choose your funding level: a fully funded scholarship, a partial scholarship, or a forum access pass. There are 50 fully funded places, so those are the most competitive.
What the fully funded scholarship covers
- Return airfare to Germany
- The visa fee
- Accommodation during the summit
- Meals
- Sightseeing
- Visa support
Partial scholarships cover part of this. A forum access pass gets you into the summit, but you cover your own travel and stay.
Who can apply
- Open to all nationalities
- Ages 16 to 45
- Young people interested in leadership, diplomacy, and global issues
The application fee
The application costs US$17. That is the fee to apply. The scholarships themselves, if you win one, cover the summit costs as listed above.
How to apply, step by step
- Open the official CDA Youth Action Summit page.
- Choose your funding level: fully funded, partial, or forum access.
- Complete the application form and pay the US$17 application fee.
- Submit before the deadline.
Deadline
5 October 2026.
The date is close, so apply soon. Confirm it on the official CDA page before you pay the application fee.
